He's been an orthopedic surgeon for 20 years. This weekend surprised him.

Dr. Allan Mishra — Stanford faculty, regenerative medicine researcher, host of Vitality Explorers — joined us as faculty at the 2026 ARTS Summit at Torrey Pines. He went home and recorded a whole episode on what he hadn't known: that fat isn't inert storage, but living, reparative tissue richer in stem and signaling cells than bone marrow.
